Let's assume you are at a dinner event, a reunion, an industry or trade group meeting, or anything similar. One of the things you will invariably see are two things:

People passing out business cards

People who are looking for a job giving out something

When you come back from that event, you have a stack of similar looking business cards. What do they tell you? Company Name, Address, perhaps a mission statement, perhaps the products/services they sell. Usually rectangle and 2" x 3" or so. White with some color.

Take a look at this presentation then ask yourself, what could you do differently. At the end of the event you want to give them something that begs them to want to see more —

SOOOOOOO…. if they are free, then maybe they'll pick up the phone. I can never get them at their desks… they are always in meetings.
