The Article headline is a sign outside my barbershop and it's really fitting for the first article of 2010. The New Year is here, and I have so many things to add to the site to make it a whole lot better. but I NEED YOUR HELP.
First of all, please subscribe to the Newsletter or at the least the RSS feed. There is so much great stuff coming that I don't want you to miss anything and readers will get the stuff first. Links are shown on the top left and right of the columns. DO IT NOW WHILE YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT IT!
A key thing I realize though is my blogs are writing to you but we're not talking to each other. I'd like to get input from you and see how I can help you in your job search.so I need your feedback to the following questions:
1. HOW CAN I MAKE THIS SITE BETTER?
2. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE ADDED TO IT?
As a bonus for anyone answering this, I will personally provide my 31 day to a new job plan to you by personal coaching. Yes, that's correct. Not just words, but me emailing and speaking with you for FREE. This goes to the First 10 people that both comment below AND Subscribe to the Newsletter . HURRY!!! This offer ends with the first 10 people. What I will do though if you comment below after the first 10 and subscribe to the Newsletter I will put you into the next group in February.
Thanks for making my first 5 months of blogging an exciting and interesting time and I hope I've helped some people out there.
LET'S GET AMERICA WORKING AGAIN!.
The '31 Day To A New Job' is my new ebook that will be available in written format by the end of the month.
Happy New Year and here's to a lucrative 2010!
Happy New Year, Bill. I really appreciate you asking for input. Personally, my resume is less than desirable, and you were kind enough to critique it. I am not sure how many more people are in the same boat as I am, but Resume skills is an area I could use more help in. Also, how to not feel like a dinosaur – as an RPG-er, whenever I mention that in conversation with other software people – I get that look, like wow, those jobs still exist? I find myself justifying my career choice, and defending myself, especailly now that we have free-form, that I could easily port over to JAVA. Do you get that a lot, or am I alone in this?
Thanks Again!
